Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Architecture and System ConstructionResponsible for the overall architecture design of the cross-border fiat payment system, including core modules such as order placement, payment, clearing and settlement, reconciliation, gateway, and transaction routing.Lead API integration with banks, payment institutions, and channel providers, and design end-to-end fund flow solutions.Design core systems for high availability, high performance, and high security.
2. Engineering Team Building and ManagementEstablish engineering standards: code standards, development processes, CI/CD, code review, and Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL).Drive team engineering capabilities: unit test coverage, automated deployment, observability, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
3. AI + Automation Engineering CapabilitiesPromote the application of AI within the payment technology team.Build internal AI agent toolchains to improve operational and compliance efficiency.
4. Production System Stability and SecurityOversee the entire financial system’s SLA, monitoring, error tracking, and alerting mechanisms.Drive system security initiatives:Encryption (AES/RSA/KMS/HSM)Access control (RBAC/ABAC)WAF, API security, DDoS protectionKey management and storage security (KMS/HSM)

Requirements

Core Background

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of technical experience, with at least 3 years in payment/financial system architecture.
• Familiarity with the cross-border payment industry, fund flow management, and clearing and settlement systems.
• Experience with MSO / electronic payment / bank payment channels / Remittance / MTO is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in at least one backend system:Java (Spring Boot) / Python (FastAPI, Django) / Node.js (Nest.js)
• Familiar with databases and high-availability architecture: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, message queues.
• Capable of leading modular decomposition, API design, and performance optimization for large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of financial-grade requirements for cybersecurity, data encryption, permission systems, and audit logging.
• Experience integrating with bank/payment institution APIs (REST, SOAP, SFTP).

Full-Stack Capabilities

• Frontend frameworks: React / Vue / Next.js / TypeScript.
• Experience in frontend-backend integration and rapid MVP delivery.

AI Development Skills

• Proficient in using AI tools such as CodeX, Claude, and Cursor to improve engineering efficiency.
• Basic understanding of AI programming and prompt engineering.
• Willingness to drive automation in compliance, risk control, and operations (AI Agent, RAG, OCR).

Soft Skills

• Strong execution, sense of responsibility, and ownership mindset.
• Ability to communicate deeply with compliance, operations, and banking partners.
• Capable of driving large projects in high-pressure and uncertain environments.

• Experience working with MSO licensed institutions or Licensed Payment Companies.
